Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Justice meets highest adoption officials in Barcelona, Spain.
On 14th February 2012 the first working meeting was organized between representatives of the accredited organizations in Bulgaria (AOMO) and Mrs. Velina Todorova, the deputy Minister of Justice responsible for international adoption.
The new Deputy Minister of Justice, Mrs. Velina Todorova, will be responsible for the intercountry adoptions in Bulgaria.
On December 2nd, 2011, ANIDO held a meeting with Irish adoptive applicants, at River Lee Hotel - Cork.

In the spring of 2012 we received the greatest news of all – we were about to become parents of a little girl from Bulgaria. She had a difficult start in life and she was placed in a baby home in Sofia where she was waiting for her mum and dad to take her home. We received a picture where we saw a tiny little girl with brown curly hair and enormous brown eyes. She was so cute, so beautiful! Later it turned out that we both felt one and the same feeling simultaneously – yes, this is her, our daughter, and no one else!
